AWOL events are women-only events.

Tuesday August 13 @ 10 AM - 1 PM - AWOL Road Trip to Port Stanley. This is a rain or shine event. Meet in London in the parking lot at Wonderland and Southdale Roads (near Tim Hortons) for a 10 AM departure time. Join our caravan as we head down to Port Stanley. Those who wish to carpool can make their arrangements in the parking lot. We'll head down to the beach and have lunch at Mackie's as a group. There are many unique boutiques, shops and art galleries to enjoy...including a lesbian-owned bookstore (Lakehouse Books) mentioned in the last newsletter. Our organized event wraps up at 1 PM so travel arrangements back to London should be in-place for those who choose to carpool there. Sunday October 20th @ 2 - 6 PM - AWOL Bonfire and Chili Cookout. We love our bonfires and know that you do too! Shannon and I are hosting this event in our backyard complete with vegetarian chili for you and a bonfire to cook your own wieners, turkey/beef sausages or any other meat/ingredients, should you wish to add them to your meal. Since this is a weather-dependent event, I will send a confirmation email to those who've RSVPed by Friday October 18th - [email protected]. BYOB and chairs. We will provide cutlery, bowls, napkins, and hot chili peppers for those who love spicy food like me!!
